By using self ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
self is an alarm application that uses AI-powered text-to-speech technology to generate personalized alarm audio. The App allows you to set alarms with custom scripts and voice selections.
You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email/password authentication.
The App offers free and premium (subscription) plans. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store on a monthly or yearly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
You retain ownership of the alarm scripts you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your scripts through our text-to-speech service solely for the purpose of generating alarm audio for your personal use.
You agree not to: • Use the App for any illegal purpose • Generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App • Use the voice generation service to create content that impersonates others without consent • Circumvent any usage limits or security measures
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that alarms will always trigger at the exact specified time. The App should not be used as the sole means of waking up for critical events. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
